Around the world, the working class is at the forefront of struggles. We are witnessing a remarkable upsurge of economic and political workers' struggles, at present especially in Britain, France, Greece, Portugal, as well as a new quality of trade union struggles in Germany. In Israel, there is an overall social crisis. In Iran, the workers are the backbone of the struggles that cannot be suppressed. At the same time, the rulers are intensifying their repression of the workers' struggles with arrests, with the build-up of paramilitary forces, as now in Israel, but also with the attacks on the right to strike in many European countries.
However, the transnational organized union remains weak. This underscores the importance of founding the anti-imperialist and anti-fascist united front and revolutionary party building under the slogan "Proletarians of All Countries Unite."
Therefore, our May Day webinar and consultation on further preparation for the 1st World Congress of the anti-imperialist and anti-fascist international united front comes just in time. The first delegates have already registered. Therefore, in the second part of the webinar we want to discuss the planning and preparation of the World Congress, the further recruitment of members and the fundraising campaign to support delegations from poorer countries or organizations.

Prepare opening statements on the current developments in the world, on May Day and on the preparation of the 1st World Congress of the United Front. If you want to make opening statements, contact unitedfrontsecretariat@protonmail.com. An opening statement can be five minutes long. In the discussion, the speaking time is three minutes. Please send us your messages and, if possible, the texts by April 16, so that the translators can prepare.
