Solidarity with the struggle of the masses in Myanmar against the fascist military regime

Since the military coup in Myanmar on February 1, when the military government took control of the country, the people of Myanmar have been fighting against the military government.

The people of Myanmar took to the streets to demonstrate and protest the military government's coup. In addition to the demonstrations, the Burmese workers, students and businessmen went on strike. Contrary to expectations, the Burmese people united and fought against the rule of the military government with deathly defiance.

However, the military government carried out brutal repression against the Burmese people. At least 114 people were killed on March 27 , the day the Myanmar army was formed. So far, 818 Burmese civilians have been killed , including 44 children, according to Reuters. The AAPP (Assistance Association for Political Prisoners believes the number is much higher. At least 4300 Burmese have been arrested. Here we would like to say to the fighting masses in Myanmar: We, the ICOR, will always stand by your side and we will fight to overthrow the military government.

Your struggle is part of the worldwide struggles for freedom and democracy in the crisis-ridden imperialist world system. What is important is its orientation to follow this path of own interests without relying on a foreign imperialist power. We call on the workers, women and youth: Organize yourselves in trade unions and the revolutionary party, rebuild and strengthen them!

ICOR is on the side of the struggle against the military regime in Myanmar and its fascist methods!
