“Union of Cypriots is an anti-imperialist and socialist organization. Even though we share and fight for the values of Marxism Leninism, we also represent the patriotic voice of Cypriots who advocate for independence first. Cyprus is still a country under the occupation of three-plus NATO armies as a result of US-backed efforts. In a country such as Cyprus whose people almost never experienced true freedom in their history, we believe that true class struggle cannot exist without national liberation against imperialism. […]

As Union of Cypriots, we give importance in being with anti-imperialists, socialists, and revolutionary organizations all around the world. We believe that the international solidarity between progressives is the most important weapon against the chain of oppression.”
