Dear Comrade
On behalf of Socialist Party of Bangladesh (SPB) we would like to congratulate you on the 10th founding anniversary of International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations (ICOR).
You are going to hold the programme at such a time when the world communist movement is passing through a hard time. The capitalist-imperialist forces are now more desperate than ever before to expand their territories of trade and business. Trade war between The USA and China has worsened.
The USA together with other big capitalist countries has already torn apart countries like Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq and Palestine. India with its retrograde Hindutva philosophy is spreading its venom in South Asia. It has already come into a sharp conflict with China in the region. The political situation in our region has become volatile.
All across the world the fascist dispensations are now in conflict to re-divide the third world countries. They are both in conflict and harmony depending upon their advantage and disadvantage to exploit the poor working masses and proletarian class. Only the strength and power of the working class movement can put up resistance against the capitalist-imperialist aggression.
It is high time for the working class parties from around the globe to get united and put up a fight against the reactionary forces. It can only be done only when there is a common platform of proletarian and Marxist parties. And ICOR is trying to play that role on the world stage. We are also part of it. A strong coordination between such parties can advance the world revolutionary movement to its culmination.
We believe that that ICOR can play such vital role by coordinating and cooperating worldwide revolutionary movements at this critical juncture of history in the absence of any effective international left platform.
If ICOR can do this it will tremendously boost the working class movement around the globe.
We hope and expect ICOR will take that initiative with a renewed vow and revolutionary spirit on this auspicious occasion of its 10 founding anniversary. We wish your grand event a great success.
