Letter of Condolences on the Occasion of the Death of Comrade Kerem Pehlivan (Demhat Günebakan)

Dear comrades of MLKP,

With great sadness and at the same time great indignation at the horrible atrocities of the fascist Turkish regime we have learned of the death of your comrade Comrade Kerem Pehlivan (Demhat Günebakan).

Comrade Demhat was one of the first to die in the fight against the Turkish army's invasion of Northern Syria/Rojava. Only 5 years remained for him in his young life for the revolutionary struggle. He was courageous, without fluctuations and defended the Kurdish freedom struggle with self-sacrificing enthusiasm. Without hesitation, he took up the flag and weapons of those who had fallen before him on the same front lines. Thus he is a role model and incentive for young fighters to dedicate their lives to revolution.

Demhat will remain unforgotten. His death is an incentive and an obligation for us to advance the construction of a worldwide anti-imperialist united front and that of the ICOR and not to reduce our efforts in the organization of the worldwide consequent solidarity with the freedom struggle in Kurdistan and in the whole Middle East.
