Letter of condolence for Fejza

To Partija Rada ByH
Dear comrades,
it is with dismay and deep grief that at the end of February we heard of your comrade Sulejman Feijzic Fejza having died of a sudden heart attack at the age of 52. We are outraged about the indifferent, criminal attitude of the government which ignores all social demands of the veterans of the Bosnia War. Fejza's death is related to his poverty and the poor provision of health care.
We are sad, because you and the ICOR have lost an important comrade who worked very actively for the construction of your party, for a strong militant, revolutionary movement in your country in unity with building the ICOR in Eastern Europe. A few months ago he was a participant of the 3rd World Conference of ICOR. We lost him right from our ranks.
But at the same time we are proud. Fejza was a courageous, fearless fighter, he was rooted among the masses and popular and led working-class struggles in the years after the war. He was one of the leaders of the Bosnian uprising in 2014 (“Bosnian Outcry”) and he used his fighting experiences from the war for the struggle for freedom and democracy. He also was a leading activist of the veterans' struggles for social demands who particularly now are fighting for their rights with street blockades in Tuzla. They honor his toughness and his optimism in the struggle for the socialist future.
We express our cordial condolences to his family and comrades and wish you much power and success in the struggle and in party-building. Let us close our ranks still tighter and continue the struggle in his spirit.
On behalf of the ICC
