Cancel opening of US Embassy in Jerusalem

The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dol (BSD) have jointly organised a protest programme and rally against the relocation of US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and also against the killing of 58 Palestinian and injuring more than two and half thousands by Israeli Defense Forces. The rally was organised in front of the National PressClub on 15 May. In the protest, the president of CPB, Mujahidul Islam Selim said, the relocation of US Embassy in Israel and killing of 58 Palestinians have happened in such a time when this is a historic moment for the Palestinians. 70 years ago, almost a million Palestinians were forcefully driven out from their homeland by Israeli forces on this day. The relocation of US Embassy in Israel is basically a part of the continuous imperialistic conspiracy of USA. He said, the CPB is condemning this incident and calling the world to stand against this conspiracy. Criticising the government, he said, Palestine supported our liberation war in 1971. If the government of Bangladesh does not condemn today's attack on Palestinians and stand against US imperialistic conspiracy, then their stand in favour of the liberation war will be in question. The General Secretary of BSD, Comrade Khalekuzzaman presided the protest rally, jointly organised by CPB and BSD. The president of CPB, Mujahidul Islam Selim, General Secretary Md. Shah Alam, central leader of BSD Bajlur Rashid Firoz, central leader of CPB Adv. Hasan Tarique Chowdhury and leader of BSD Engineer Shampa Basu also spoke during the protest. 

In his speech, the General Secretary of BSD, Comrade Khalekuzzaman said, the US imperialism is encouraging such atrocities in order to continue its looting and establish its dominance in middle east. By killing innocent civilian Palestinians in Gaza and relocating its embassy
in Jerusalem, the US imperialism is actually aiming to thwart the struggle for independence of the Palestine. The relocation of US embassy in Jerusalem is only a continuation of that conspiracy. He called upon all to stay alert against the conspiracy of US imperialism to hinder the communal harmony in South Asia. Other seekers in the rally said, the imperialism cannot sustain without its arms business and wars. This is why; the US imperialism is making continuous efforts to spread war around the world. Israel and Saudi Arabia have also joined hands with the USA. They called upon the international organisations to take appropriate steps to stop attack and killing of the Palestinians. 
Future programmes: The CPB-BSD and Democratic Left Front will organise a countrywide protest programme at 19 May,Saturday demanding the cancellation of US Embassy in Jerusalem and protest against the killing of Palestinians.
