The 3rd World Conference of the ICOR, that took place in November 2017, expresses its concern and outrage in view of the continuing wave of arbitrary political arrests of more than 350 Marxist-Leninist students in different universities of Morocco since 2011.
The ICOR also expresses its outrage about the arbitrary political imprisonment of more than 520 peaceful protesters in the Rif region in the North of Morocco, who protested against the militarization and exclusion of this region. They demand elementary rights, as for example, a hospital for cancer treatment, a university, factories and highways.
The ICOR demands the immediate release of all political prisoners in Morocco and the respect of their freedom of expression.
