Uwe Ahrens passed away at the age of 68. He had no chance against the rapidly spreading cancer. Uwe was a fervant internationalist. He led an extremely modest life. Since the beginnings of party-building of MLPD he devoted his energy to the struggle for the liberation of the working class.
He trained himself to become a highly qualified translator and thus made an important contribution for the construction of ICOR which will not be easy to replace. His memory is an obligation for us.
