Further development of the ICOR Solidarity Pact with the Kurdish liberation struggle

1. At the end of 2014, the ICOR concluded a Solidarity Pact with the Kurdish  liberation struggle. With this the ICOR has proved itself in an excellent way at a world political focal point. The solidarity pact develops international solidarity with the struggle of the Kurdish people for  national and social liberation, and links it with the international revolutionary and working-class movement.

The ICOR Solidarity Pact was able to achieve significant successes; it is now necessary to develop it further. The fascist Turkish Erdogan regime has started a war of annihilation against the liberation struggle in Rojava, the structures of the autonomous, self-governed region of Rojava, their bodies of self-government and the PYD.

2. In the future, the ICOR puts forward the following demands and slogans:

Recognition of Rojava and of its self-government bodies as legitimate representatives of the   local Kurdish and multi-ethnic population by international law! Immediate lift of the embargo against Rojava and support of a humanitarian corridor!

Immediate stop of all political, economic, military and logistic aid for IS (Daesh)! For the ban, effective combating and international condemnation of the fascist IS and all other  fascist organizations!

We demand:

• International condemnation of the fascist system of rule with T. Erdogan at the top! Severance of all diplomatic and economic relations with Turkey! Immediate withdrawal of all NATO forces from Incirlik! Shutdown of all military bases! Withdrawal of all foreign troops from the region!
• That the Kurdish liberation struggle be not treated as criminal! Lift of the PKK ban!
• Humanitarian aid for the affected Kurdish civilian population and in particular for the refugees!
• Unrestricted right of asylum on an antifascist basis! For the right to seek refuge and against the discrimination of refugees! For us revolutionaries there are no first- or second-class human beings! Hands off Rojava! Freedom for Kurdistan!
• For the right of self-determination of the Kurdish people!

Long live the struggle of the Kurdish people for national and social liberation!

Long live international solidarity!

Workers of all countries, unite!

3. a) Let us increase our political activities and  educational work! The ICOR and its member organizations support, initiate and organize activities of protest, solidarity and resistance  and educate the masses in the spirit of international solidarity. In the case of an acute culmination of the attacks on Rojava, a call for a worldwide day of action will be issued. To this end, the ICOR website will be used intensively.

b) Let us propagate the building and operation of the Health Center as a project of proletarian internationalism! Let us spread the film “Secure the Victory!“ on a massive scale; to date, it has been published in German, English, Kurdish, French and Spanish and its release in Arabic, Turkish and Italian is currently being prepared. As soon as the bodies of self-government officially confirm that the Center was put into operation, short, effective activities for making  this public will be organized (photos, film, press releases, Internet work).

Let us complete the ecological facilities of the project based on an expense of roughly 80,000 euros.

Let us develop the cooperation between ICOR and the bodies of self-government of Rojava when the Center is operating, as has been agreed: international brigades of doctors and nurses, among others, are to be organized, when the situation allows. In practical solidarity work, we promote in particular the supply of medical equipment and medication.  Mutual  information and discussion with the Kurdish bodies of self-government.

c) Development of the Conference Middle East  into an effective regional ICOR Coordinating Committee and winning further organizations for collaboration. Establishment of an ICOR Office in Rojava.

d) Systematic exchange of opinions and experience regarding the concrete development, critical debates in a spirit of solidarity on the way and goal of liberation.
