Final declaration of the meeting of organizations and parties from the Balkans on invitation of ICOR Europe
Comrades of seven parties and organizations, from Bulgaria, Ex-Yugoslavia, Turkey / Kurdistan and from Romania have taken part in the 1st Balkans Conference of ICOR Europe. In a solidarity-based discussion the participating comrades informed about the situation in the different countries of the Balkans, about the politics of oppression, exploitation, and plundering by imperialism. The desire of the comrades for a stronger cooperation of the revolutionary forces was closely connected to the criticism of revisionism and betrayal of socialism. But also the need to be able to deeply cope with the influence of revisionism in the labor movement was expressed.
The comrades reported about a strengthening and activation of the revolutionary and Marxist-Leninist forces in the struggle for the liberation of humankind from capitalism. Also the interest and solidarity with the Kurdish liberation struggle is an expression of this. The call for formation of international brigades for Kobane/Rojava and the solidarity pact were announced.
The first Balkans Conference also showed that we must learn how to work together in the joint struggle of liberation. The participants of the conference were united on organizing more meetings / conferences for dealing with theoretical and practical tasks.
