Solidarity with the Marikana Platinum Mineworkers
Resolution of the 2nd ICOR World Conference
The mine workers in Marikana platinum mine were involved in an independent strike demanding a better wage increase than the slavery increase they are earning. The state intervened to come and protect the interests of the international monopoly capitalists, the mine bosses, such resulted in the death of 37 people.
ICOR must show its solidarity support to the miners and their families.
