Resolution on Palestine
In 1917 Lenin regarded the Balfour Declaration as a plan by international imperialism to settle a Zionist colonial formation in Palestine with the aim of dominating the strategically important geographical region. At that time it was already known for its rich deposits of raw materials. Since 1949 Lenin's view has become reality.
Since then the Palestinian people live under the yoke of colonialism, exploited, starved out, deprived of their land and space to live, massacred and forced by violence to leave Palestine. The Zionists committed barbarian atrocities and genocide, producing thousands of martyrs. This is engraved in the collective consciousness; the massacres of Kafr Qasim, Deir Yassin, Sabra and Shatila, Jenin, … etc. belong to this.
Even worse, in cooperation with their vassal, the Arab reactionaries, imperialism and its Zionist instrument have multiplied their machinations in order to liquidate the Palestinian cause. The accords of Camp David, Madrid, Oslo, Sharm el-Sheikh,…. etc. can be mentioned as examples.
In spite of all these crimes and machinations, the Arab-Palestine people and its revolutionary forces and fighters have undauntedly put up resistance against colonialism and its reactionary lackeys and continue to put it up.
The Palestinian cause remains a central issue for the Arab national liberation movement, an inseparable part of the anti-imperialist, anti-Zionist revolutionary international movement.
